I have these sport fusion shoes and I really like them. Ihave had them for while so they are broken in now. At first they were kind of tight but now I love them. The only thing is they hug your feet and I am not sure if that is the reason , but they sure do smell alot. Even with socks. No other shoe that I have had that much foot odor in them. So, I think it is the shoes. The style holds in heat and your feet feel like they are encased like sausages. 
Laila is kicking butt on Dancing with the Stars. She is definitely holding her own. Needless to day I am rooting for her. She is definitely her father's daughter. I know her training as a boxer is helping her out. She has that fancy footwork. 
My appetite is my shepherd; I always want.

I think overall I prefer real people that have not been enhanced by plastic surgery. I am not knocking it, it is just not for me. Whatever wrinkles and crinkles that life hands me I will wear like a badge of honor.
When I see enhanced women that are not extreme they look good. I think that for those who get enhancement and it is natural, it is okay. But for those who are the extreme, like Pam Anderson, Anna Nicole....they have gone just a little too far. Then there are those who are addicted to plastic surgery. Not so good for them either.
It seems that for the west coast plastic surgery is a happening , everyday thing. I know a few ladies locally who have had work done. It is always a secret, but HELLO! You look different after you have been "away" for three weeks for "vacation." It is not secret on the west coast. For me, I do not think I will ever have anything done. The only enhancement I want is another tattoo.

I was talking to a friend of mine today and her husband. It was their 20Th wedding anniversary. They got married in their 20's so they are now in their mid 40's. She put together an excellent gift for her husband. It was a scrapbook highlighting all their years together so far. It was fantastic and in many ways it made me envious of their great relationship. I wish I had been that lucky to fine a good man. How they met was long before any sort of dating services like we have today was established. They did it the old fashioned way. They just said "hi" in person.

I knew it would happen. I was listening to the tv that was on in another room when I heard that Paris and Nicole will be going to camp this summer. Are they friends again? Then later I saw a commercial clip where they were sending each other plants each bigger than the next with notes that they were "more" sorry than the other. Yeah they are sorry all right! They both have issues. Seems to be Paris more so than Nicole. Paris is so very over exposed...if you know what I mean. Nicole just needs to eat a cheeseburger. She will then be alright. I went to my local Earthfare store last night for one thing. ..wheat grass. I had been hearing so much about it that I wanted to try it. I found it and lots of other things I really did not need.. like that piece of coconut cake from the deli and that baked brie..the mini ones with fruit on top. I also bought some flax seed gel caps and minted lamb sausages, vegan brownies and a few other things. I had two very litttle plastic bags that cost $75.00. I forgot the sugar. I went looking for the wonder Biofreeze that I so needed to get and I was unable to find it at the local grocery store or Target? What is up with that. It was late so I was unable to go to any other place to find it. I think on tomorrow I will go to a CVS pharmacy and see if they have it. I really need it.

I was watching the cable this morning and one of the shows that was on was 101 most shocking moments in Hollywood. One of the 101 was that John Belushi died of a drug overdose in his hotel room. He was so young and talented and it seemed that people around him should have seen that he needed help. If only he had gotten help. We would still be blessed with his comedic talent today.

Why is this so true? This reminds me of an incident that happened many years ago when I was in high school. I was watching the tele and some comedy was on. My mother was in the room. I was laughing my head off at the show. It has something to do with the mother of the family doing something silly and all was laughing at her. My mother somehow thought this what not so funny and began to yell at me because I was laughing at the show. She turned it all around in some convoluted way and made it that I was laughing at all mothers of the world by laughing at the show.
She is a humorless woman unless she is laughing at others. That is the only humor she has. When something odd or bad happens to others she laughs at that. Normally noone else is laughing or will see the humor in it. Sad. SO very sad.
Well, as you know I recently hurt my right knee while landscaping. After the first week, a friend of mine took pity on me and gave me three samples of Biofreeze. It is the best ever! It works. What do we know about him? The gunman suspected of carrying out the Virginia Tech massacre that left 33 people dead was described Tuesday as a sullen loner . It is always those quiet ones that we need to watch out for. They are deadly. He looks innocent enough but according to the news blurbs I heard he was disturbed. His creative writing indicated that something was wrong. Why did not his family see that? They had to notice something before over 30 people were killed. He recently stalked women and set fire to a dorm room. Surely someone would or should have seen that he was a man in trouble.
He killed two people earlier in the morning, before the slaughter later. I am not sure why no one figured out he was the one who did that. It is a shame. So many lives lost. And for what? He left a note reportedly railed against "rich kids" and "debauchery" and "deceitful charlatans" on campus. There was another report that he was depressed and on medication. He really needed to be in counseling by whoever gave him the pills for depression.

I just hope that we do not have any copy cat killing now. I remember after Columbine in 1999 that kids began to shoot their classmates all over the place. It was scary! This was the worst killing spree in US history. My heart, prayers and thoughts go out to all those families who lost their loved ones or who have loved ones who were injured but not killed. What is this world coming to? I just don't know.

I have had a series of odd accidents recently. About a month ago, I fell down the stairs and sprained my left ankle. The bad thing about it, is that I was on the 2nd stair from the BOTTOM, not the top. My foot just somehow flew out from under me and my foot turned, I heard a loud ripping noise, felt shooting pain and then fell to the floor. Freak accident!!
I sat on the floor for about 10 minutes and then tried to walk. I was OK for about 20 minutes, then pain and swelling began. It would not stop. I ended up having to go for x rays. In the end I had to R.I.C.E. it. Rest, Ice, Compression and Elevate it. This was on March 10th. I am just now getting over it.
That is not all. Last week, I was doing some yard work and I strained my left knee. It is in really bad shape. I heard a very loud pop! Then the next day swelling. I have not been to the doctor. I have been doing R.I.C.E. on my own. By next week if it is not better, I will go to the doctor. It has been very swollen. I am walking with a limp and due to the swelling I cannot bend it very far. It is hard to get in and out of the car without bending your right leg.
I seem to be getting very clumsy in my old age.
