Gym Sunday

I spent about an hour and 1/2 at the gym today. I did 1 hour on the treadmill. Afterwards I felt fine for about 4 hours. Now my right foot is achy and hurts on the top of my foot. I have had some sort of pain there for the last 3 weeks that has been getting better and was just about gone. After that hour on the treadmill, I feel crippled and am slightly limping. I guess I will have to break down and go to the md about my foot sooner THAN later. It has already been 3 weeks of pain. I just woke up one morning with a pain that has never left.

Foodwise I did okay today. Breakfast was eggs and sausage with just a little grits and 1/2 of a cinnamom bun. Lunch was a ham sandwich plate from Shoneys. Dinner was yogurt with a table spoon of flax seed mixed in, water and 2 nathan hot dogs. Just the weiners, no buns.

I'm off now to hobble to bed.

Salads

For the past 3 weeks I have made it a point to eat at least one big salad for a meal. I am focusing on more fruits and veggies and less fat. I do feel better. I feel lighter after I eat and not heavy and weighed down with food. Gone are the big heavy meals that make me sleepy. The only thing is, hunger pangs kick in with just a big salad. I then have to go fill up on water or the hynotic rays from the vending machine will overtake me.

I tried to go to the gym today but I started out too late. They closed at 5pm. In the winter they close at 7 so that was a missed workout today. Tomorrow they are open from 1-6. The treadmill is calling my name.

So I fell off the Chocolate Wagon

Well, after lunch on yesterday I fell off the chocolate wagon. About mid afternoon I had to have a snack, something before dinner. So after rummaging around in my purse I found enough change to go to the snack machine in the break room. I found 2 wonderful kitkat bars and BAMM! they rer mine and boy were they good. I washed them down with a coke.

For dinner it was eating out at taco bell. I had the mexican pizza and a drink. boy was that good. Light but full of beans. I may have been a little musical last night. :)

This morning I did better. No chocolate for me today. Oatmeal and a mango for breakfast. Lunch ws baked chicken and green beans. Dinner was orzo, baked chicken and kale. I did have abotu 4 glasses of water today. I will need to step that up to 8. There is just sooo much running to the bathroom evey 5 minutes with 8. It can be a pain!

TGIF!

Thank god it is Friday! I am kind of tired today and work is a bore. Right now I am doing all sorts of continuing ed courses. Yippeee! It is something we all have to do.

Breakfast today was not so good. I was running late and did not have a chance to eat at home. So, it was very easy to turn into Burger King and get a breakfast meal. I had the sausage, egg and cheese croissant with the hash brown and coffee. For a mid morning snack I had yogurt. The best yogurt is the Crème Savers. It is so good it is almost like eating ice cream. I am not sure about the calories for the breakfast meal, but I know the yogurt was 200 calories.

Lunch will be a small piece of leftover fish form last night and a salad. I will break out the juicer as well and have a nice big glass of beet, apple, carrot and parsley juice. I love my juicer and the difference juices. Some of them are so heavy….you do not want to eat anything else.

Weight Counter




I will most likely post my weigh counter on the 5th of each month or BY the 5th of each month.

This is where I am now and you can see where I want to be. Bring on the hard work and sweat! That swim suit is calling my name! Wear me! Wear ME! It's on.

Today as far as meals here is the skinny. For breakfast I had coffee and a rice krispie treat. It had 200 calories I checked. Not so bad. For lunch I had a piece of chicken..a thigh from a chicken place. A girl who works in the office won lunch on a radio contest and had lunch for 12 brought in . I had 1 piece of chicken a bisquit. Then about an hour later I had my real lunch. A chicken ceasar salad and 2 large glasses of water.

Dinner was a small green salad with tomatoes, capers and balsamic viniagrette dressing. The rest of my meal was 2 pieces of braised fish, followed by a water and yogurt chaser. All of this was before 8pm...then I had more water.

My Goal Suit!

While I have not posted in a while I have been going to the gym infrequently..not enough to make a difference. About once a week and that is it..not enough to really get into the excersize mode. I plan to step it up to two times a week next week. This is what I want to be wearing or close to wearing come July and August of this year.
